Geocoding
Completion requirements
A brief exercise introducing geocoding of street addresses: an address is a common language georeference, which can be turned into an explicit location defined by coordinates through the process of 'address geocoding'. This, by the way, can be done in reverse as well - which is (surprise!) called reverse geocoding: finding a nearby street address for a chosen location.
Take a few minutes to experiment with this tool, supporting geocoding in both directions!
